Sending an In-App Message

Test coverage: 

This test will confirm the following:

  • The In-App messages are received on your device successfully. 
  • Analytics is updated.

NOTE: you will need to integrate and setup Appoxee Inbox  or your custom Inbox in order to send and receive In-App messages.

Testing procedure:

  • Create a Segment for a Test Device
  • Create an In-App Message in your account and send it to your test device, you can use the following article if needed: Creating content per device within an In-App message.
  • Make sure that the following:
    • HTML pages are responsive to mobile.
    • Payload doesn't exceed the maximum size.
    • App is not in the foreground
  • Open your Application once the message was sent and is presented successfully in the campaign.

Expected result:

  • Your Inbox Icon should indicate that a new message is available
  • Verify that In-App Sent is updated to 1.
