Sending a Push+In-App Message
Test coverage:
This test will confirm the following:
- The Push + In-App messages are received on your device successfully.
- Analytics is updated.
NOTE: you will need to integrate and setup Appoxee Inbox or your custom Inbox in order to send and receive In-App messages.
Testing procedure:
- Create a Segment for a Test Device
- Create a Push+In-App Message in your account and send it to your test device, for more information, use the following article: Creating content per device within an In-App message.
- Make sure that the following:
- HTML pages are responsive to mobile.
- Payload doesn't exceed the maximum size.
- Device volume is turned on.
- App is not in the foreground.
Expected result:
- The push notification should be received with your intended icon, app name, text, background colours and content. The following article can assist you in the process: Modify the App Name and Icon, Presented in the Push Notification - Android
- Verify that push Sent and In-App Sent are updated to 1.
